Choice Words Campaign: A Persado Podcast Program (2020)
How do you bring a thought leadership podcast about language to life with graphics?
2020 marked the launch of Persado’s podcast Choice Words, a thought leadership content program designed to build credibility for our AI-based marketing content solution. Brand’s challange was to create a design solution for the episode tiles (and social promotion materials) that would help break through the visual clutter in the Spotify library, the Apple Podcast Library and the Google Podcast library while also telegraphing meaning around the podcast topic: language.
Our design solution? A geometric pattern made out of sound waves set against a palette of electric gem colors with simple iconography tied to episode topics. Simple, vibrant and not tied to photos of hosts or guests, this solution allowed us to expedite the production of materials for each episode. As fast as our podcast host could crank out the stories that business leaders needed to hear, we could rapidly generate the episode materials for use in podcast libraries, in social channel promotions and on our website.
