Different: A Sage Business Cloud Advertising Campaign (2018)
We turn to actual Sage business builders to bring our scalable and customizable accounting solutions to life in this tax-season ad campaign.
With the deadline fast approaching for the UK’s Making Tax Digital initiative in 2019, businesses spent 2018 scrambling to digitize their accounting practices to meet new gov’t requirements. To help business builders of all sizes find the right solution, we bring in lifelong Sage customer and Sage spokesperson UK entrepreneur Peter Jones, to share the value of being “sage,” and making the right decision for your future, no matter the size or type of business you own.
We crafted a multi-touch, holistic campaign named “Different,” featuring broadcast TV, radio and OOH to promote a robust consultation program under the header of Sage Advice, driving viewers to a Making Tax Digital landing page with blogs, webinars, and access to 1:1 phone advisors for insights and accounting product recommendations that would ensure all business types meet the new gov’t mandate.
OUTCOME: During the campaign, leads originating on the “Different” campaign landing page impacted the UK small business product segment with an increase of 645 product trials, a 27% increase over pre-campaign. The medium product segment closed 1148 deals for an additional £673k in revenue, based on leads originating on the “Different” campaign landing page.
