Short Attention Span Theater for the Tech Set

Between 2010 and 2013, Riverbed acquisitions added four additional product families to our app and network performance catalog. As leadership wrestled to integrate and align the sales teams and partner channels, marketing and product got busy with a new naming construct and messaging architecture. Out of this exercise fell five new solution categories for customers to consider. Our first step was the low hanging fruit of product demos for the web advertising, live events and demand activities. Normally, when you have news, you go big. We did the opposite. We went small. And short. And sweet. We whipped up five colorful, 60 second clips, paired with whimsical music and fun imagery, to simplify for customers our new range of app and network performance offerings.

OUTCOME: In the first year, we received over 8,000 views from the typically skeptical and wary tech buyer.
